The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

The Raceday Stewards reviewed the start of this race. Evidence was also heard from the IHRB Starter. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed the fields turn into the home straight on the final circuit where the inside running rail was knocked. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident turning into the home straight first time round involving Tullyhill (FR), ridden by Mr S.J. Butler, and Avalo, ridden by Sam Ewing, where it appeared Avalo ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Mr S. J. Butler stated that his mount hung left a little but he did his best to give the horse on his inside room. S. Ewing stated that he ran short of room and gave a shout. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.

J.C. Gainford, rider of Matt Connor, trained by J.P.Dempsey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got a bad start.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident going by the stands first time round involving Rubi Tuesday, ridden by D. King, Keep The Head, ridden by H.E. Sexton, and Windy Grey, ridden by Kevin A Murphy, where it appeared Windy Grey ran out of room and had to take back. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D. King stated that things got tight but he felt there was not much in it. H. E. Sexton stated that he had caused no interference. Kevin A. Murphy stated that he ran short of room when they met the rail again. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found H. E. Sexton was in breach of Rule 214, in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard (second offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended H. E. Sexton for four race days.

Prior to racing the Raceday Stewards granted permission for Race 5 to be run over an amended distance of 2m 6f and 100yds due to operational reasons

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined A Penny A Hundred (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Justatan (FR) trained by Emmet Mullins was found to have blood at both nostrils post race.

The following Raceday Stewards acted on behalf of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board at this race meeting: Mr Con O'Mahony (Chairman), Mr Michael Moloney, Mr Maurice Carroll, Mr Bernard Smullen, Mr A. Ring.

Following the running of Race four the official going was changed to Good, good to yielding in places
